The damp....very wet harvest 2023

I think we can all agree that harvest 2023 has been a challenging one, testing stamina and patience.

Working later into the night most nights to claim the grain reward while the rain stays away we are now approaching September and the nights drawing in and continuous rain showers is really dragging the season out.

I've lost count of how many bales I've chased and loaded, lorries towed in and out of fields.
